A little bit about Lilly White Cakes
Lilly White Cakes began in my kitchen, during the whirlwind of new motherhood. While pregnant with my daughter Darla, I realised I couldn’t return to my travel agent job. Instead, I turned back to a lifelong love: baking.
From my very first birthday cake at 12, baking has always been part of me. What started as cupcakes for friends and family slowly grew into something more.
The journey
Over the years, Lilly White Cakes has taken many forms - from fondant figures and wedding towers to floral cupcake bouquets. Eventually, I found my true passion in traybakes. They’re fun, creative, and bring joy without the stress of custom orders.
In January 2024, I discovered Bracknell Market didn’t have a baker. I set up a stall and never looked back. The weekly rhythm and loyal community of regulars have made it something truly special.
Where we are now
You’ll now find us at Bracknell Market every week with a full spread of fresh traybakes and now, you can order your favourites online too.
It’s a family effort as well, with my mum helping at the market and loving it just as much as I do.
For me, baking isn’t just business - it’s my love language.
